Group Data Type

An object that defines the groups that user's can be in. Groups are described by being members of roles.

name data type constraints description
name string required The name of the group.
permissions array of Permission   All of the roles that belong to this group.
description string   A description of the abilities of this group.
role Role   The type (U for user, etc) for this group.

version number   For internal use only. This is the serialization recorder for optimistic locking of several objects between sessions.
